Synopsis

In Chinatown, Gomurr performs a magical rite that recycles Tar's soul and incinerates his body.

Taking Wolverine's advice, Archangel heads home to confront Psylocke and demand that she get the help she clearly needs. In that moment, however, the help she needs is in a fight with the Undercloaks. With the penthouse on fire, Archangel heads into the rain and flaps his wings to guide the water to put out the fire. Psylocke, meanwhile, takes out the majority of the enemy. The fight is ended when Psylocke saves Archangel by brutally killing an assailant. She finds a ring that was dropped and is enchanted by it.

In the Crimson Dawn, Kuragari gets word that his minions failed, but that the ring was left behind. He glories in his eventual marriage to the darkening Psylocke.

As they dream, Archangel gets the feeling that Psylocke is trying to reach out to him. Things take a turn, however, when dream-Psylocke puts the mysterious ring on and attacks Archangel. He awakens to find Gomurr. They both turn to see that Psylocke has, in fact, put on the ring. Kuragari attacks and takes Psylocke as his prisoner.
